Some new screenshots of the forthcoming release of NWM 2010
for OpenBVE can be found on the screenshot
page. More will be added in the coming days so please check
back. The old gallery has been discontinued.
When released the update for openBVE will feature:
Random moving traffic on overbridges.
Moving passing trains.
Points of interest to externally view the active train.
Three eras to run different train liveries and stock (1995-2000/2001-2005/2006-2010).
Revised track layout and signalling at Radley Junction.
Hammerwich station and approaches updated and track layout
revised.
Revised track layout at Hobbs Cross (era dependant).
Inplementation of openBVE $include statements to provide random
routing, weather conditions, trackside engineers, etc.
Implementation of high detailed OLE throughout
Improved 3D signalling, station lamps, 3D trees and all stations
with correct nameboards.
New diagrams for the new driveable trains (cl350/60/67).
Station stopping places adjusted for the default train unit.
Random route scenarios (random weather/track maintenance speed
restrictions/routing).
Unfortunately there are no plans for an update for BVE4 at
this time.

The NWM v05.09 update has been uploaded. A number
of new diagrams have been added. Modifications include more
photo-real textures and an expansion of the high-resolution
route options. There are seperate downloads for BVE4 and OpenBVE
to allow the OpenBVE version improved lighting glow and some
animation features such as flashing signals.
January 01st 2009
The NWM v01.09 update has been uploaded. A number
of new diagrams have been added, along with the separation of
diagrams into various era with passing train types and livery
to suit. The line between Salford Bridge and Frankley Junction
has been completed, please see the updated Quail Map guides
in the download section for further information. Further improvements
and modifications include more photo-real textures and an expansion
of the high-resolution route options. The routes will now run
without errors in the current version of OpenBVE.
June 06th 2008
The NWM v06.08 update has been uploaded. TPWS installation
has been corrected as per prototype, and a number of new route
files have been added for the new class 150 DMU and class 323.
A few scenic and signal timing issues have been amended. Public
announcements recorded by Phil Sayer have been introduced at
principle stations along the route.

2008
The NWM v02.08 route set is now available to download.
This release features a bundle of new diagrams, the first stage
of the loop line up to Salford Bridge, improved scenery and
signals, and approach control from yellow at some of the faster
junctions. The suite also includes the first release of the
high detail OHLE as an option in the Salford Bridge area.

Welcome to NWM @ BVE4.NET - The new site for Network West
Midlands BVE add-ons.
In the coming weeks the next version of the NWM suite of routes
will be uploaded. You can expect improved scenery, added diagrams,
and the extension to Salford Bridge. Please check back soon.
